The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) of India is inviting all leading companies and CA firms to the forthcoming campus placement programme to be held in August - September 2012.

Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) of ICAI are endeavoring to provide Chartered Accountants with placement opportunities. To achieve this objective, CMII has been organizing campus placement programmes all over the country for more than a decade now.

The forthcoming campus placement programme is for newly qualified chartered accountants and is organized at 18 centers in India. The placement programme of the institute provides an opportunity to peruse the particulars of a large number of Chartered Accountants, interview and recruit the suitable ones in an organisation. The scheme provides an opportunity - both to employing organisations as well as professional aspirants to meet and explore the possibility of having a mutually beneficial relationship. The ICAI makes all arrangements for conducting of the interviews at all the centres.

The campus interview dates for Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata are August 13, 14,16 and 17; those for Jaipur and Pune are August 16,17,18; those for Mumbai and New Delhi are August 22,23,24,25,27; for Ahmedabad the dates are August 23, 24 and 25, for Bangalore the dates are August 23, 24 , 25 and 27, while September 4-5 for Baroda, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Indore, Kanpur Nagpur and Vapi.

It was also advised that organisations participating in the campus placement programme prefer that the candidates selected by them should be ready to join the organisations immediately and should thus not claim that their articleship is pending and that they require more time to join, which will affect the overall quality of the campus placement programme.
