Extension of last date for submission of Application Forms in respect of CPT June, 2017 Exams - ICAI

CPT is scheduled to be held on 18th June, 2017. Students who have registered for the Common Proficiency Course on or before 3rd April, 2017 and fulfill the eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for the exam.
The last date for submission of exam application forms for CPT was 27th April 2017.
It has been brought to our notice that many candidates could not submit their applications for the test, on time, on account of their 12th Std. exams being in progress, across several states.
For the benefit of such candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of examination application forms in respect of CPT to be held in the month of June 2017, as a special case, to 6th May, 2017.
Accordingly, candidates can now submit their exam forms for the CPT to be held in June 2017 online at http://icaiexam.icai.org, from 12.00 noon of 2nd May 2017 upto 6th May 2017.
Candidates are advised to note that physical exam application forms, i.e. OMR forms has been discontinued.
The on-line window will be open for log-in creation upto 17.30 Hours on 6th May, 2017. However, submission of exam form and payment of exam fee thereof can be made upto 23.59 Hours on 6th May, 2017.
So also, last date for submission of the print outs (PDF) of the exam application, with the photographs and signatures duly attested, at the designated offices of ICAI, by those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen, while applying on-line, is also extended upto 10th May 2017. Other candidates whose photographs and signatures are displayed on the screen while they apply on-line, need not submit the physical print out of the exam form.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
