I Go Green With ICAI

As you may be aware, more than 275,000 copies of The Chartered Accountant journal are printed monthly providing useful knowledge to readers. However, printing such a huge quantity requires tons of paper and subsequently becomes a real drain on our trees. The extent of its implication on our environment and energy can be beyond our imagination.

In order to save our environment, the Editorial Board of ICAI has decided to sincerely endorse the Institute's GO-GREEN agenda, by persuading its member-readers to discontinue receiving their individual hard copy of the journal.

You must be aware that e-Journal is available in both PDF and user-friendly e-magazine formats on http://www.icai.org/new_category.html?c_id=259, and hyperlinked Journal Highlights are regularly emailed to you every month, which bring the Journal within your reach and make that accessible to you all the time and that too without any cost You can collect and preserve copies digitally, thereby increasing availability and reducing space.

Therefore, I sincerely request you to be sensitive to our environment. Being responsible members of a noble profession, it is our duty too to back the Institute's GO-GREEN agenda to preserve our environment. I am sure, we can collectively do that.

If you agree in principle with me, please go to the link "I Go Green With ICAI", submit your consent and support the ICAI's green agenda.

I don't agree not to get physical Copy of The Chartered Accountant- Journal " as the institute have to print 275,000/ copies of Journal each month and would like to go-green. I need the physical / hard copy of the Journal ( The Chartered Accountant ) as usual in my residential address every month, which I am getting since I have been one of the Member of the Institute since 1970 to present.
