Roadmap to create world class Professionals soon: Moily
A meeting between three bodies including ICAI and ICSI, will be convened soon to prepare a roadmap to create world class professionals, who should be on demand at global level, corporate affairs minister M Veerappa Moily today said.
The meeting with the representatives of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India, would discuss various modalities and courses to be adopted for future professionals, he said after laying the foundation stone for a building for ICSI here.
A committee, to be formed, would be asked to submit a report within three months, Moily said.
The ministry has already started an Institute for Corporate Affairs in Manesar in Haryana, Moily said, adding, it would work out a course to create good faculty members to teach these professionals.
On the proposed National Corporate Governance Policy, Moily asked the committee headed by ICSI President, Naser Ahmed to submit the report within one month and once it was adopted it would be "the first and best in the world."
