Indraprastha Gas increases CNG price by Rs. 1.75 per Kilogram in NCR

Indraprastha Gas Limited has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs. 1.75 per Kilogram in the national capital.
The revised price came into effect on Friday midnight.
It is now Rs. 33.75 per kg in Delhi.
The CNG prices have also gone up in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad by Rs. 2 per kg. It is now Rs. 37.90 per kg in these areas.
In a statement, Indraprastha Gas said the price had been raised mainly on account of rupee depreciation against the US dollar.
The company sells CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas to households in Delhi and neighbouring towns.
