Q. > Please Help: Salary notice period pay deduction
kindly suggest for following example:-
I have resigned from A co. and paid notice pay shortfall of Rs. 1.50 lac (assume) by myself and this amount was reimbursed to me by company B after joining. Now, B is going to deduct TDS on this amount but A is refusing to deduct this amount from Form-16 (this will put me in a loss due to TDS).
Do we have any Case Law decided in this regard which I can forward to company A, so that they can deduct this amount from my form-16? Is there any other way to avoid this double taxation.
Kindly suggest.

At the time of filling the return you can claim for refund and by showing actual income in return
