Can CST paid on Purchase be adjusted against CST Payable??

NO, CST PAID ON PURCHASE CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED AGAINST CST PAYABLE.IT IS NOT LIKE VAT WHERE INPUT CREDIT CAN BE TAKEN FOR THE VAT PAID.THE BASIC EXPLANATION TO THIS IS- THAT CST PAID ON PURCHASE IS RECEIVED BY SOME OTHER STATE.
