Q. > Please Help: DVAT DP-1
Received a notice dated 15 sep 2014 for imposing penalty of 50k for non filing of DP-1. Though later date was extended & we filed DP-1 in January 2015. We filed objection u/s 74 (DVAT 38) for cancelling of penalty on the grounds that date has been extended. But commissioner has dismissed objection & sustained penalty on the grounds that as per earlier notification of filing DP-1, this penalty is correct. What is the solution now?
