Please Help: Provident fund applicability

If employee is getting salary more than 15000 and employee is not willing to contribute anything in provident fund in that case whether it is mandatory to contribute in provident fund?

17-Jun-2015 , 10:49:28 amNo, it's not mandatory for those employees whose salary per month is more than Rs. 15,000. The change in threshold become effective from 01-SEP-14, earlier to the date it's voluntary for those whose salary per month is in excess of Rs. 6,500 only
