exporting of sole and upper of footwear seperately-pls tell advantages, disadvantages compliances in excise and customs if any

A) In case of excise:
1. Advantage: No excise duty will be leviable on production of sole, as sole is not commercially known as separate product.
2. Disadvantage: As no excise duty is paid no CENVAT credit will be available.
3. Complication: In case of export can exporter of sole claim CENVAT credit?
