Please Help: assessable value for excise duty

it is confirm that predelivery inspection charges will be included in assessable value. Will service tax paid on PDI be a cost component for the purpose of assessable value ?

28-May-2014 , 10:30:08 amAre you a service Provider of Inspection. If not it is a normal Cost incurred under the meaning of Assable value. If you product is catagorised under Excisable you can include the same on Ass.Value and pay the Excise duty
