23-Dec-2017 , 09:11:41 amFirst specify the relationship between the both. If the NRI is equity holder then yes there is a provision for the said transaction. It will be under ECB route, but the rate of interest cannot exceed the ECB guidelines and there are other factors like maturity, tenor also that needs to be taken care which again will be guided under RBI master direction on External commercial borrowing and Trade credit.
