Please Help: TDS late remittance

I am working in branch office of a financial institution. We have deduted TDS from commission payment on 7/8/13. Usually we are sending credit note to ho and TDS is to be remitted from there. But as we failed to send the credit note to ho TDS was not remitted till date, what will be the penalty

20-Dec-2013 , 03:03:29 pmif tds is deducted but not paid on or before due date,in your case i.e.07/09/2013 then interest of 1.5% is charged on tds amount.
