Please Help: 80C Deduction

I Applied for NSC via chq dt 20th March 2016 for Rs. 150000. The Cheque was cleared from my account on 30th March 2016. But the NSC was issued to me Dt. 10/04/2016. Will I be able to claim deduction u/s 80c for FY 2015-16. What is the remedy for the above delay by Post Office
