Form 16 issued by the company without giving HRA exemption. Can a salaried assesee claim HRA exemption in his Income Tax Return without informing the company about HRA payment.

if in form 16 issued by company without giving HRA Exemption.then we can take Deduction under section 80GG for house rent paid.

Yes, the employee can do that, but he needs to have sufficient evidence on being inquired by IT Department
