Q. > Please Help: PAN/TAN surrender
A partnership firm is closed. I need to surrender its PAN/TAN. Kindly let me know procedure of surrendering PAN/TAN and any other formality if required.

THERE IS NO SEPARATE PROCEDURE PRESCRIBED FOR SURRENDER OF PAN /TAN. YOU JUST NEED TO WRITE A LETTER TO "NSDL" FOR THE CANCELLATION OF PAN/TAN.
