ICAI has not issued any guidline for non completion of 1st GMCS within stipulated time (i.e Completion of 1st Year of Training) But it's still advisable to complete as soon as possible. The same situation was in my case, it has been complete 1 and half yaer of my article-ship but i could not complete my 1st gmcs in the stipulated time) I dropped a mail to Board of Studies for know the consequences for the same, and they replied no specific guideline for non completion of gmcs, But Advice me to complete it as soon as possible.
