Dear Amrit,
Its always good to clear the exams with flying colours but one must understand that clearing the exams and clearing the interview for training are two different things. I myself got 49th rank in PEE-II exams but was not able to get training at any branded ca firm but i never blamed the system/jack for the same, and got registered with a very small ca firm and i learnt much more than what i could have learnt in a branded ca firm.
In nutshell, the message which i wanted to convey to you is that keep trying for firms without comparing with the firms in which your friends/relatives are associated.

Congrats for your rank securing efforts.. just dont loose heart. as rightly said, exams and articleship are two independent issues.Just get registered with a principle, who may not have big clientele but is willing to share his knowledge. you wont regret thin once you qualify.
