Q. Tax Audit of the Society - Dear Experts As per Section 44AB, Tax Audit is compulsory if the gross receipts are more than 1 Crores for the FY 2013-14 As per section 12A, Audit Report in Form 10B is to prepared in case of a society. Now my query is if an educational society is having gross receipts of more than 1 Crores than audit report under both the sections is to be prepared or only under section 12A is to be prepared in Form 10B Early response from experts is awaited. Q. PAYMENT OF DDT - Dear Sir,

ABC Co. declares dividend in the AGM held on 20th Sept, 2014, for the year ending 30th March, 2014.

Now Dividend Distribution Tax has to be deposited within 14 days from Declaration (i.e.,20th Sept).

Now my Question is regarding clarification of Assessment Year (A.Y.) to be filled in Challan 280.

Will the A.Y. Be

i) A.Y. 2014-15 (as the Dividend was declared out of the profit of F.Y. 2013-14).

But the problem arise here, is that, suppose we pay the DDT within 14 days (let say on 3rd Oct, 2014)and mentioned A.Y. 2014-15 in the Challan. Also the ITR-6 has be filed before due date (i.e,30th Sep), then how we can fill the DDT Challan details in ITR-6?

OR

II) A.Y. 2015-16 (as the Dividend and DDT was paid in FY 2014-15)

Please Clarify the above issue

Q. Details to be desclosed in 3CD - I want some guidance: Relavant Data: There is an assesse who has two types of business: a) Jewellery Business
b) Speculation Business.
I have prepared Profit & Loss Account for both Business separately. Turnover of Jewellery Businee is approx. 7Lacs n Profit is also higher than 8% thus does not attract the provision of Tax Audit.
But turnover of speculation business is more than 1crore and comes under tax audit. During the preceding F.Y. the assessee was not under tax audit and he also did not show his speculation business. Because there was speculation loss of Rs. 1400 only and he filled his tax return after the due date.

Query: It is related to the point no. 40 of 3CD- details of accounting ratio with calculation. Whether the clubbed amount of turnover, net profit, gross profit and turnover of both business will be given or only of speculation business?
