Q. VAT Explanation Required - Suppose - Reebok purchases goods from a 3rd party manufacturer, worth 100/- MRP, it pays input take of say 10/- total cost to Reebok is 110/- then Reebok transfers its Goods to its Franchise and Franchise sells the goods to Customers by collecting VAT whatever rate applicable and transfers the same to Govt. So, how does Reebok claims the output VAT ? (Please correct me - Reebok will transfer goods to Franchise and NOT sell)

Q. DVAT DP-1 - Received a notice dated 15 sep 2014 for imposing penalty of 50k for non filing of DP-1. Though later date was extended & we filed DP-1 in January 2015. We filed objection u/s 74 (DVAT 38) for cancelling of penalty on the grounds that date has been extended. But commissioner has dismissed objection & sustained penalty on the grounds that as per earlier notification of filing DP-1, this penalty is correct. What is the solution now?

Q. A Valid Invoicing Pattern for a Export Unit. - Anyone have any case law or any reference of section regarding a problem,
Problem is that my client have a export unit and he making invoices in computer form, pre-printed stationary on which invoice no is not mention, he invoicing through stamping machine on all invoices, but department always questioning this matter. I want your views and any case law in which court described about valid the invoicing pattern.

AP VAT - Sir/Madam,For claiming Refund under APVAT Act, Original Purchase Tax Invoice is required under the VAT Act,some of the Invoices were not received by client, the Supplier is ready to give the same asby Marking as Duplicate is it Sufficcient for claiming Refund because Tax Authorities were asking as per Act,they require Original Tax Invoice is the stand taken by the Department is Viable or Not under VAT Act, if there is any decided case law Please refer the same. Q. DVAT Registration - 1. Is it really compulsory to fill in all the sections, even the non mandatory ones?
